US News & World Report has released its 2019 ranking of the healthiest places to live in the USA, which used 81 factors to measure health and wellness in communities across America. More than 3,000 counties throughout the United States were assessed according to healthiness factors such as: health of the population, equity, economy, education, environment, food and nutrition, housing, public safety, infrastructure, and community vitality. The Labor Department reported that the American economy achieved an impressive milestone in January 2019 by producing new jobs in the USA for 100 consecutive months, including the 304,000 US jobs filled during the first month of the New Year! On October 9, 2018, the US-based Pew Research Center released the results of a nationwide poll of 1,754 American adults which discovered that a majority (68 percent) of people living in the United States think “openness” toward immigrants is “essential” for the country.
