IMMIGRANT BECOMES AMERICAN CITIZEN AT AGE 103

An immigrant living in the US state of Florida received her American citizenship in a special ceremony held in Miami on June 14, 2019. This was an extra special occasion for this immigrant from Haiti, since she was able to become an American citizen during the Flag Day national holiday and because she is 103-years-old! After living in the USA with a Permanent Resident Green Card for more than 15 years, she decided it was time to take the next step and become a US citizen. Her family and friends who attended the naturalization ceremony said they were overjoyed about this accomplishment. This is a reminder to immigrants of all ages that a person is never too old to experience the American Dream! To read more, click here!
